# Get Erasure Request

> Read a completed DPDP erasure request: what was erased, what was revoked, and what was retained and why.

## Endpoint

GET /v1/dpdp/erasure-requests/:requestId
```

## Authentication

Requires a developer API key in the `Authorization` header.

## Path Parameters

## Response -- 200 OK

The same object [Request Erasure](/api-reference/dpdp/request-erasure)
returned: `requestId`, `dataPrincipalId`, `status`, `recordsErased`,
`grantsRevoked`, `delegatedGrantsRevoked`, `grievancesRedacted`,
`exportsDeleted`, `retained`, `submittedAt`, `completedAt` and the deprecated
`expectedCompletionBy` (equal to `completedAt`).

## Error Responses

| Status | Code | Description |
| - | - | - |
| 401 | `UNAUTHORIZED` | Invalid or missing API key |
| 404 | `NOT_FOUND` | No such request for this developer |
